North Beach Renovation
This home located in the North Beach neighborhood yearned to be brought into the modern day. The dark, north facing kitchen windows allowed in very little natural light, and the kitchen was cramped and isolated from the living room and back yard patio areas. The plan was simple, add beams to the ceiling, remove a few walls and add skylights to brighten it up. The expansive kitchen was updated with fir cabinetry, granite countertops and modern appliances. Slate flooring was added to the entryway introducing all who enter to the open space of the kitchen and living room. The windows and doors were updated along with the basement media room adding valuable energy savings along with comfort and style.
